Automate Resume Filtering for HRs using n8n
How it works
- Searches a specific Google Drive folder for resumes.
- Filters and downloads supported files (PDF).
- Moves unsupported formats to “Not Supported” folder.
- Extracts content from PDFs.
- Injects job description and analyzes resume against it using AI.
- If candidate score ≥ 80, moves resume to “Selected” folder.
- If score < 80, moves to “Not Selected” folder.
Set up steps
- Requires Google Drive and OpenRouter credentials.
- Create one main folder: “Resume Shortlist”, with 3 subfolders: “Not Supported”, “Selected”, “Not Selected”.
- Set job description manually in the “Set JD” node.
- Estimated setup time: ~15 minutes.
- Sticky notes in workflow offer folder structure and JD instructions.
