Youtube Video to Social Media Post

How it works

• Form Trigger: Waits for a user to submit a YouTube video URL via the “YoutubeVideoURL” form node.
• Extract Video ID: Parses the submitted URL to pull out the video’s ID.
• Fetch Transcript: Calls the YouTube Transcript API (RapidAPI) using the extracted ID.
• Process Transcript: Consolidates and cleans up the returned transcript text.
• Generate Post: Sends the cleaned transcript to an OpenAI Chat Model which drafts a social-media–ready post formatted.

Set up steps

• Required Credentials: RapidAPI key (for YouTube Transcript API) and OpenAI API key.
• Approximate setup time: 10–15 minutes to import the workflow, configure credentials, and verify connections.
